Moving Body, Still Mind: Integrating Yoga and Meditation

Jump-start your meditation and yoga practice for the New Year with a half-day retreat hosted by Prana Yoga Shala and Dharma Treasure. This immersion is for yogis who are looking to develop a meditation practice, and for meditators who are interested in exploring moving meditation. Facilitated by yoga and meditation teacher, Daniel M. Choi (RYT-200, Dharma Treasure Board Member), this immersion includes several accessible postural yoga sessions, embodied meditation techniques, and a survey of yoga history and philosophy. By the end of the immersion, you will have a template for developing your own personal practice integrating yoga and sitting meditation, regardless of your prior experience. Beginners are especially welcome! We suggest you prepare a yoga mat, enough space to move around, some blankets, and cushions and/or chairs.
