Preparing for Retreat

As a personal/solo retreanant, you will be practicing for many hours each day without much interaction with others.

As such, it can be very helpful if you already have some sort of existing daily practice, and some group retreat experience, so that you have a feel for meditating on your own and in retreat already.

That being said, if this will be your first personal meditation retreat and you do not already have your own strong, daily practice, you can still come.  We request and advsise in these cases that you definitely do take advantage of the on-site meditation teachers for guidance during your retreat.
