Introduction to Satipatthana

Learn the practice of satipatthana, commonly known as the four foundations of mindfulness. Satipatthana is an accessible and holistic practice that connects all aspects of your life. Moving from the gross to the subtle, satipatthana thoroughly clarifies the dimensions of your being and makes clear their interconnectedness. Both meditation and wakeful contemplation during your day create a seamless experience with opportunities for valuable insights. No experience with meditation or satipatthana necessary.

Mimi joyfully teaches meditation, yoga and yantra painting in San Francisco and also offers online classes.

She has been meditating since 2004 and currently teaches TMI and satipatthana meditation techniques. Yantra painting and art making as meditative processes are part of her personal practices that she also shares in the form of workshops.

Mimi began practicing Yoga in 1990. She shares yoga with her students through the lens of meditation and an emphasis on the energetic body. She teaches with each individual’s needs in mind and a variety of styles of yoga: vinyasa, yin and restorative.
